Product Review: MoneySearch.com

About the company: "Money search.com is a loan search Engine, and we're committed to helping you find a wide assortment of lenders and brokers. Our purpose is simple... to provide you with a simple way to find a local lender and view updated rate comparison surveys from hundreds of lenders and brokers nationwide.”

The big pitch: “Get quotes from multiple lenders with the lowest rates.
MoneySearch.com provides debt consolidation and personal, auto, commercial, and student loans, in addition to insurance services. This collection of financial resources is a great help when you are trying to choose between various lenders and brokers, as you can view information about each lender and broker quickly through the easy online navigation.

You can search for a Lender by several different loan types including home equity loans, commercial loans, construction loans, refinance loans, and the list goes on. Plus, you can search for Lenders in your specific geographic area. MoneySearch.com does all the hard work for you by providing the information you desire, quickly and efficiently.

MoneySearch says they will search high and low for loan and financial information, for free, and the way they make that happen is with a free loan search engine - how can you beat that? MoneySearch also provides free online financial tools that they claim will be your financial virtual assistant, as well as the added benefit of online calculators. They boast online calculators for mortgages, investments, and leases, allowing you to make informed, researched decisions.

For example, perhaps you are considering refinancing your home. Should you refinance your home or stick with your current loan? Use the mortgage calculator, which will ask you such things as the existing balance on the loan, the monthly payment on the loan, and rate of the new loan, etc. It will take this financial information and crunch the numbers for you, allowing you to make an informed choice.

Another example involves the lease calculator. You can figure out how much you can lease by filling in financial information including lease start date, number of payments, payment amount, and interest rate, and the website does all the thinking for you. Another option, to conduct a free credit report, is just icing on the cake.

MoneySearch can be your one stop shop for finding the best deals on insurance policies, credit card rates, and the loan that will best suit your needs, and in our opinion it's well worth a look.

The Product Trends rating: Quite honestly, MoneySearch is a valuable financial resource for anyone interested in borrowing money. The online financial calculators take the confusion out of determining which loan is best for you, and we like that but plenty. Four Stars. ---Reviewed by Jillian Dobbs
